Experience

This summer I had the opportunity to intern with Reynolds & Reynolds. It was a great experience and was a great opportunity to develop as a sales professional. Through my internship I was able to experience all the different aspects of the Reynolds sales force. While at corporate headquarters in Dayton, OH I made cold calls, worked on lead generation, called on competitive accounts, and worked on several internal projects. I also had the opportunity to travel for three weeks with several account managers in different areas of the USA. I spent a week in Indianapolis, Indiana; Tampa, Florida; and Houston, Texas. Having the opportunity to meet with customers and bring value to them through our products and services was something I truly enjoyed. I also had the opportunity during the last week of the internship to present a market research project to executives at Reynolds, including the president of the company, vice presidents of sales and customer service, as well as to several other managers. At the end of my internship I received an offer for the opportunity to return to Reynolds and Reynolds full time as an account manager.
